I wish that I could be Jeanie for a day.........

I wish that I could blink myself into a little bottle and escape from the WHOOLLLLEE world.
Every 10 minutes D is spilling something, breaking something, whining about something, throwing toys on the floor oh the list goes on and on. I mean, how much can you punish a kid in a day? I love him so much but man some days it's just hard.
All I've asked for today is 5 minutes to wash my hair since our bathroom is STILL torn apart. So what happens as soon as I stick my head in the sink? D starts whining because he wants chocolate. I tell him no, it's too early in the morning for that. Then okay he wants a candy cane. I have no idea where he's finding this stuff (remember my head is soaking wet and in the sink). I tell him no and he says too late it's already in my mouth. I look up and get shampoo all in my eyes. I just can't fight in this position so I tell him to take it out of his mouth and that I'm throwing it away when I get my head out of the sink. He said that he wanted some yogurt then. As always he finds a way to get his way because yogurt is healthy and acceptable. He opens the frig to get the yogurt and I hear him shoving things around and the leftover pasta dish comes falling out onto the floor. At this point I just lose it. I completely lose it. I take my head out of the sink and water is going everywhere - all over me, all over the floor and I tell him to GET OUT OF THE KITCHEN. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG???????????????????????
Then there's piddle AND piddle Jr. Every 15 minutes the puppies have to pee. Which means I have to either keep them in their cage (which is just mean) or take them outside - no they won't use a piddle pad, they eat them. Although I love them I DID NOT get these puppies for me. Bringing that stress into my life was the last thing that I needed. Jeff and Dawson wanted a puppy after Rufus passed away and I totally rejected that idea. I just wanted new carpet with NO URINE ON IT. I knew that Molly's health was starting to fail and I knew that they would be devestated without a dog around. Trying to do something nice, but now guess who's stuck with their care 24/7. And I do mean 24/7.
I wish I could blink the dog pee away and the toys up off the floor.
I wish I could blink the dogs outside to pee and blink them back in
(every 15 minutes)
I wish I could blink the laundry done, Jeff's business stuff done when he needs help, my photography work - proofing, ordering, etc
I wish that I could blink all of the countless juice boxes open, the strawberries cut up or the snack opened all day long
I wish I could blink the groceries bought, home and put away
I wish I could blink dinner done
I wish I could blink lunches made
I wish I could blink the dishes done
I wish I could blink myself some time to work on me - to come up with a food plan and exercise
I wish I could blink all of the emails read and answered
I wish I could blink the phone answered or calls returned
I wish I could blink my car clean
I wish I could blink my purse clean
I wish I could blink the video's on
I wish I could freeze the world still to have more time with Dawson, Jeff, family and friends
I'm sure there will come a day when I'm old and grey and Dawson is grown and out of the house, that I'll want to blink it all back again. But for now, for just one day - Pink outfit, pink bottle, ponytail on top of the head...........that's what I want.
Added: I didn't realize how much I missed the beginning to that show until I saw it online - LOL http://www.idreamofjeannie.com/
