Eau Claire Waddlesworth

This is sweet little Claire. She was the runt of the litter. We almost didn't get her because there was a question about her back legs. After talking to Jeff's brother Carey he told me that it might be swimmers legs. I asked the breeder to take her to the vet to have her legs checked out and then spoke with the vet myself. She said that she had a "touch" of swimmers legs but she had worked herself out of it. That was such a relief because I was already in love with her before I even brought her home. We've since had her checked out by a vet here who said that her legs are just fine. She's such a sweetheart, but is quite feisty when she get's riled up. When I first saw a picture of her, and also saw her in person for the first time, her face just completely reminded me of Jeff so of course she had to be my first pick and she had to be named after Jeff's home town of Eau Claire Wisconsin. She is quite a bit smaller than Dixie and is such a snuggle bug. She loves to play but isn't quite as destructive as her sister. I hate to play favorites, but you know...........what are you gonna' do? ;).


3 weeks - this is the picture that the breeder emailed me when I asked for pictures of the other puppies. I knew that she said that I'd love Dixie's personality but every day I just kept looking at this little face.





4 weeks - this is a picture that I took when Devonne and I went down to pick out which puppy I wanted. I had a hard time (and Devonne had a hard time offering help too) but she's the one that I ended up choosing.


6 weeks - A picture that I took when we drove down so that Jeff and Dawson could meet the puppies to see if I made the right decision on which puppies we would be bringing home the next week.


These are pictures of Miss Claire since she's been home with us. Don't hate me because I'm beautiful!
