A day in the life.....

So, here's the idea. I'm thinking of offering customers the option of "A day in the life" packages. I'd stay with their family for let's say 4/5 hours and follow them throughout their day. I'd provide them with all of their pictures in either a bound book or a 5x7 image in a specialty box of each portrait taken. I think for all of this I'd have to charge anywhere from $800 and up (maybe even more like $1,000) that might be the only drawback, huh? Anyway, just wanted some thoughts on this from my family and friends. I just keep thinking how much I'd love to have portraits like this of Jeff, Dawson and I and how precious they would be to us in years to come. It's not the cheesy forced smile that I want to remember, it's those precious every day moments.

This session was so much fun and I hope to do more of this style because this non backdrop stuff truly identifies me as a photographer!

And as for the image above. I'm trying with each outdoor session to do a shot or two that could easily be a piece of beautiful art hung in the home - big! Not that typical portraits aren't art, but you know what I mean =).
